We designed this online chicken keeping course for both new and existing keepers of chickens. Everyone should experience the joy of chicken keeping in the garden. That joy can be tainted however by inexperienced planning and lack of understanding. Happy owners make for happy and healthy chickens. Our course goes into great depth so that you can fully understand the birds themselves and their correct care. This will bring more enjoyment for you, their lucky keepers.
We have a lot of content and we estimate that each lesson can be completed over a very leisurely cup of coffee. We have 17 lessons plus their associated quizzes.

You know that feeling when you take a punt on an online course, not really sure if it will be worth the £ or really deliver all that it promises, and it’s a let down. Well THIS course is the complete opposite! It’s brilliant - affordable (half the price of some others I came across), really comprehensive, detailed with enough revising of some details so it sticks, nice humour to keep it personable, but really clear that keeping chickens needs to be done with whole heart and mind. And a completion quiz that isn’t just a tick box exercise, it really does check you have paid attention on each of the 21 chapters. Can’t recommend it more highly!!

Wish I'd done this course before I'd ordered the coop as it would have paid for itself a number of times over. I have no chickens at the moment but I feel a lot more confident about the day to day activities involved in preventing and dealing with any common issues. Enjoyable and interesting course

There are many conflicting opinions online and the book I bought was overwhelming. this course was exactly what I needed. It follows a logical format which builds your knowledge and you are able to go back and look at information again. Easy to study

This course is easy to study as you can go back and reread as you need. You can also access completed modules for further refreshment. Content is well laid out and easy to follow. Once I get my chickens I'll find out if it was comprehensive enough (but I think it will be!)

I decided to take this course before taking the plunge and rehoming some rescue hens. I have completely changed my mind on the coop and run size after completing the course and I am now looking forward to getting some rescue hens.
